SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. All orders are shipped with tracking via FedEx and Bartolini, both domestically and internationally.
Memoir is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect; this is the responsibility of the shipping carrier. We do not accept responsibility for missing orders if the tracking indicates that the order has been delivered. We will communicate with the shipping carrier if a package is delayed or lost. Packages can only be considered lost through the customer service of FedEx or Bartolini. Once a lost package claim has been filed, Memoir will receive a refund from the postal service for the total cost of the buyer’s order; a full refund will then be issued to the buyer. This process may take up to 45 days to complete.
CUSTOMS FEES MAY APPLY FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS. BUYERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS DUTIES OR IMPORT TAXES INCURRED.
RETURN POLICY
Memoir sells second-hand items and, therefore, in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation):
- A consumer cannot claim defects that were brought to their attention prior to the sale or if they examined the goods before purchase and any defects should have been apparent.
- A consumer cannot claim for damage they caused or if they simply change their mind about wanting the goods.
- A consumer is not entitled to claim for defects that appear as a result of normal wear and tear.
Returns are not accepted for reasons related to fit, incorrect size, or because the item does not meet the buyer’s personal expectations. Buyers are encouraged to carefully check measurements, descriptions, and images before purchasing.
As all items are second-hand, please be aware they may show minor imperfections not stated in the product description. However, buyers have the legal right to return an item within 14 days of receipt if the item is not accurately described. No refunds will be issued if the buyer fails to carefully review all attached images and read the provided item description thoroughly. Your understanding and attention to detail are greatly appreciated to ensure a smooth transaction process. Memoir reserves the right to refuse a refund for the item.
Please contact us via email if the item is not accurately described in order to arrange a refund. Please note that to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as received, with all tags still attached and in its original packaging. Additionally, the item must be returned within 7 days of notifying us of the return, or 14 days for international customers.
We will automatically issue a refund to the original payment method once the item has been returned and inspected. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. We recommend using a tracked or signed delivery service to ensure your returned items are not lost in transit. Memoir is not responsible for lost returns. Please be aware that customers are responsible for any costs incurred to ship the item back to us, and these will not be reimbursed.
